Royal Dragon Breeding Policy
Royaldragon has created its own breeding policy, which we believe is ethical and has the dog's best interest and health in mind. We also breed within the guidelines set by Dogs West (WA Canine Association);
Male: Not to be used for stud until over the age of 12months and tested for any breed relevant hereditary diseases. Stud dog owner must hold a membership with their State Canine Body and the dog is only to be bred with a registered/papered female.
Female: Owner must hold a current Prefix with their State Canine Body. Tested for any breed relevant hereditary diseases. Not to be mated before 18mths or after 6years of age. A max of only 4 litters in a bitch’s lifetime. Any bitch that requires caesarean deliveries will not be bred 'back to back' or have more than 3 litters.
We will sell pups on the main register, if a mutual agreement can be made in regards to the above breeding conditions. We will also offer advice and assistance to our puppy buyers that are interested in entering confirmation shows and/or becoming registered breeders.
